I'd like to try to make some of my own necklaces. Are there any good
books you'd like to recommend to me? I'd like to use beads and
learn to sting them up and also make corded necklaces (ie, those on a black
cord with some kind of main eye catching piece)..

-Since you're in or close to Mountain View, I'd recommend that you visit a
shop on 720 Villa (in Mt. View) called the Global Bead. They have both
beads and finished pieces. The folks are very helpful and they'd be best at
idenitfying what you'd want in books, etc. after you told them what you're
looking for.
