Question:
I have a friend who loves beadwork and has been enjoying the few pieces
that I have given her over the past year.
Her birthday is coming up in August and I'd love to make either a
bracelet or anklet for her.
She loves freeform and "unusual" types of artwork, so I thought I'd try
my hand at something like that...I'm not sure what I'm looking for, but
something that would catch one's eye when seen. It can't be too time
consuming as I tend to be a "slow" and meticulous worker and I only have
about a month (on and off) to work on it...
Does anyone have any patterns or ideas I can work with? Thanks so
much!!
Answer:
I don't know how unusual it is (I'm new into this beading addiction), but there
is a pattern for a bracelet called "Crystal Wave" that I found on the internet
- here is the site
http://checkerbeads.tripod.com/pjwaves.html
It's not hard to do - takes me about an hour now to make a bracelet - and my
friend love them! I use 4mm Austrian crystal beads and silver lined delica
beads.
They are pretty and sparkley and make really nice presents.
Good luck with your hunt!
