Question:
I'm a novice at this whole thing. But the beads are accumulating and I'm
wondering what people use for storage. I'm getting tired of dragging
multiple plastic boxes around from place to place in the house. One woman I
talked to uses the hardware store type vertical drawer boxes. Is there a
better way?
I'm learning lots from you all-- so thanks!
Answer:
- I am experimenting with a tool box arrangement. I have a small
one that contains my pliers, crimps, jump rings, clasps, etc. It's handy to
take from place to place in the house when I am working on a stringing
project. I guess a larger one could be used for beads, though my beads are
currently in the hardware drawers you spoke of. I just take out the ones I
am working with. I have microwave muffin cups for use when I'm beading in
the house. You know, each color bead goes in it's own little muffin cup.
I still haven't found a good way to take my loomwork with me, and that's my
favorite beadwork! It's so relaxing to me.
I'd love to hear whatever you come up with. I wouldn't pretend to have found
the best way yet.
-Here is what Jeanne and I use. And LOVE. We are both repeat customers.
Oh. And the customer service is awesome!
