I'm hosting a flower bead swap and i'm still a few swappers short. I was
wondering if anyone on this board would be interested?
Status of Swap: OPEN for participants
Participants: 20 (2 beads for each, so 40 beads)
Waiting list: Yes
Sign up deadline: September 1st, 1999
Beads are due by: September 30th, 1999
Anticipated return date: October 15th or sooner.
Details: 2 Beads 3/4" - 1" in diameter. Flowers must be in the design. The
beads can be round, cane slices, or sculpted. They must also have some green
in the design (to pull together the whole look when all the beads are
strung.)
The beads should have vertical holes (from top to bottom) to the design so
that they will sit right when stringing on a necklace or making earrings out
of them. Package each set of 2 beads separately.
It helps to also include a little note in each set of beads to your fellow
swappers telling them who you are, your e-mail or snail mail address, any
info you would like them to know about you or the design of your beads.
Package your beads securely in a box I can reuse when mailing them back to
you. Include 3 dollars for return Priority postage (or a Priority stamp),
and a self-addressed mailing label. Mail them to me by September 24th so
that they'll be here by September 30th.
