Question:
What is a good price for good furnace glass beads? I say *good* beads
because I've seen some that just... I don't know... didn't 'zing' with me.
There is a local fellow who makes the most delicious furnace glass. It looks
edible, I swear to you! I lust over it all the time. LOL!
Anyway, he sells by the pound only. YIKES! I'm sure his prices are fair,
though they are by no means the lowest around. I always prefer to pay a
little more if it means I'll be getting what I really want.
Anyway, just thought I'd ask here to see how MUCH more this is going to be.
LOL! Oh, and if anyone wants to share a furnace glass order...
Answer:
-look at fire mountain gems catalog - they offer furnace beads by fire design
beads and someone else per ounce, all are lucsious! i have bought fire
design beads in the past, still have a large stash that isn't getting used
quickly, and they are great people and have wonderfull beads....
-Anywhere from $140 a pound for average beads to $175 for really great furnace
glass beads (i.e. exceptional shapes, lots of latticino, aventurine and color).
