Question:
I'm no longer using a glass bead kit I purchased several years ago and
so I'm offering it for sale. Over time, I've added to this kit and it
is thus now quite extensive. This kit is for making glass beads on
cylindrical copper cores and includes:
51 colors of powdered glass (each approx. 3/4 of a film congtainer in
volume)
14 colors of finely ground glass (each approx. 3/4 of a film container
in volume)
3 film container's worth of powdered flux
4 metal plates, each 2" x 2" (to protect your worksurface)
metal tweezers
8 metal rods for holding the beads while they are being made
aluminum ashtry used to hold newly finished beads
Thompson Enamel catalog (supplier for many of the materials in this
kit)
Approx. 1,100 (yes, 1,100!) polished pure copper cores (each .5" in
length)
A propane torch is necessary to make these beads. I've had success
selling finished beads for $0.50 each. A picture of some beads I've
made can be seen here:

I'm asking $140 for this kit plus shipping. Thanks very much

yeah - you got ripped off for that kit....
I've been making those for almost 30 years
and --you don't need the copper tubes to do it with - and the enamels are very
cheap.....
anybody who wants my "cheaper" method without cutting copper tubing - just
email me....
I taught the class at the Society of Glass Enamelist Convention back in like
1992 or about there...
