Question:
I am looking for a source for jade (nephrite and jadeite) beads and
donuts. Haven't had any luck in my area (Washington DC Metro), lots of
"new jade", aventurine, and crummy dyed stuff, but no jade.

-I purchased some gorgeous nephrite jade beads from Southern Pacific Wholesale
in Vermont. Their e-mail address is SOPA...@aol.com. I'm sure if you e-mail
a request for a catalog they'll send one out to you. The price was right. A
lot cheaper than my other bead sources and again, the beads were gorgeous (4mm
& 6mm). Once you request a catalog, you'll get some great sale flyers every so
often.
-The best source for semi-precious stones ( in my less than
humble opinion) is Acceents Beads. Thier new location is
in Rockville, just off the Rockville Pike, near G Street.
