Question:
I have some SaraJane Polyclay treasures I am in the process of
embellishing. I have a lot of accents but am still searching out the market
for asian treasures, especially cinnebar. Polyclay would be okay impressed
like - ? - the traditional cinnebar pieces. If anybody knows of someone
who does them, or a good Cinnebar site, or a haven where all the Japanese
beads reside, do tell!!!
I have already been looking at a lot of things on eBay. And next I am going
to pull some old catalogues with asian predominance. Will also go online
and play Japanese bead roulette with the world wide web. But if there are
any hallmark stores, I would love to know. And you can also eMail me at
home or here.
Answer:
-I just saw some Cinnabar things on Justbeads this morning. I didn't check them
out, but I saw them in passing. They are in the semi-precious section.
-I'd be careful if you find real cinnabar instead of imitation. main
components are arsenic and sulfur. Imitation, there is some in the fire
mountain catalog.
