I've been lurking for a while and enjoying the discussions and
wonderful lampwork bead designs. Anyone out there fabricate metal beads?
Would love to see some examples and have a discussion of techniques. I've
worked with metal clay and am presently doing a repousse class.
Answer:
-I've never done it but I think metal bead fabrication sounds
fascinating! I hope some metal bead makers step up and contribute to the
discussion, I'd love to hear more about it.
-A lot of folks use precious metal clay to make custom beads.
-I'm working on some tension set copper and silver beads, but I'm still
practicing doming!
